Xanadu Villas is a truly unique destination, a luxury resort on Zanzibar’s east coast that enchants guests with stunning architecture, private butler service, and refined cuisine. For this exceptional luxury retreat, we created a digital experience that captures the elegance and spirit of Xanadu. In addition to web design, we refined the brand’s visual identity, updated the logo, produced new print materials, and continue to create high-quality visual content.

Design inspired by the place

Colors, shapes, and materials of the resort set the tone: turquoise like the ocean, sandy hues like the beach, and graphic elements inspired by architecture and vegetation.
Our goal was to translate Xanadu’s atmosphere into a calm, clear, and refined digital experience.

The design reflects the natural elegance of the resort, guides users clearly, and invites interaction.

Silver foil meets fine typography

The brand lives beyond the screen. Business cards were printed on uncoated paper and refined with a silver foil stamp, a tactile statement of quality and elegance. A consistent brand experience, from first digital contact to the personal welcome on site.

A digital presence that lasts

The website for Xanadu Villas was shaped through a holistic design process, inspired by the resort’s architecture, light, and atmosphere. A palette of warm sand and deep blue-green reflects Zanzibar’s natural beauty and the brand’s refined character. Organic shapes, elegant typography, and open space evoke calm and clarity. From moodboards to final launch, every element was designed to feel like Xanadu: timeless, intuitive, and distinctly luxurious.

A hand-drawn map that brings the resort to life

To elevate the user experience, we created and implemented a custom illustrated map of the Xanadu Villas property. Unlike standard aerial photography, this handcrafted map combines charm and clarity helping guests explore the resort visually and intuitively. Fully interactive and optimized for mobile, it becomes both a navigational tool and a visual centerpiece of the website.

Capturing atmosphere through image and video

To express the unique spirit of Xanadu Villas, we created photo and video content that brings the resort to life. From cinematic drone footage and detailed interior shots to authentic moments with models, each scene was crafted to reflect the elegance and setting of the resort. The result is a high-quality content pool that conveys the atmosphere and identity of Xanadu across web, print and on site.

Drone shots that bring the architecture and location to life

Our drone production delivers more than just impressive images – it is a strategic tool for showcasing the architecture and location of Xanadu Villas. With precisely planned flight paths, coordinated lighting and stabilised shots, we present the complex from perspectives that optimally convey the sense of space and integration into the surroundings. These images are incorporated into marketing materials, social media campaigns and press relations to create a consistent and strong brand image.

Luxury, framed for digital

We created a visual presence for Xanadu Villas on social media that translates the resort’s atmosphere into a digital format. Carefully selected imagery and motion content highlight special moments and key features in a way that feels personal, refined and true to the brand. The result is a coherent and inspiring presence across platforms.

Immersive views for Xanadu

We produced a custom 360° tour for Xanadu Villas and integrated it into the digital brand experience. Featuring selected areas of the resort, the tour adds an interactive layer to the website and offers guests an authentic preview before arrival.
